Mazzanti Evantra

Mazzanti chose the Top Marques Supercar Show to be held in Monaco, a weekend on April 2013 under the patronage of Monaco's Prince Albert II. It will be the venue to launch its Mazzanti Evantra Supercar.
This is a limited series production car, and the company will only produce five cars per year, making it very exclusive. One of the key features of the Mazzanti Evantra is that the company encourages would-be owners to take a highly active part in customizing the car to their own requirements.

Engine

Buyers will have a choice of a naturally aspirated, 3.5-liter, flat-6 engine that will deliver 403 horsepower, or they can opt for the twin turbocharger version of the same engine. The latter bumps the horsepower up to a whopping 603 horsepower.
The chassis is built from lightweight steel. The designers focused on giving the car a very low center of gravity, greatly improving road-holding performance, and keeping the weight down as much as possible.

Design

The Evantra concept was created by Mazzanti founder Luca Mazzanti. He collaborated with the chief designer, Zsolt Tarnok, to finalize the design of the Evantra. Their philosophy was to produce a car that combined the best features of modern and classic sports cars.
The result is a car that at first glance, looks very much like a classic in its overall silhouette. However, it quickly becomes obvious that the styling and external features are in fact very modern. The car has been deliberately shaped to have a more aggressive appearance than the traditional sports car.
Modern LED lighting units are set in recessed housing, and do not interrupt the sleek, smooth curves of the front body, which sweeps downwards to an inverted triangle shaped grille. The front makes the car look more like a racing car than a sports car.
